Two tracks suddenly gone silent on sonar for no reason

Hi all,
I've recorded a song with a few tracks, and suddenly, with no apparent reason, the drum track and piano track have muted; the track is still there, and no I haven't pressed "mute" but sadly there my experience ends...any ideas for someone who is not technical and only wants to do his songs!!??

    Welcome to the forum.
First, we need some more information:
Which version of Cakewalk software are you using?
Are they audio tracks or MIDI tracks?
If MIDI, what software synthesizer(s) are you using to make the sounds?
What is the computer's operating system and is it 32-bit or 64-bit?
What sound card or audio interface are you using?

First, check your routing. Expand the audio tracks and see what the Output (O) is set to. If 'None', is there anything selectable?
If the Output is set to a Bus (Bus, Aux, Master, etc.) check that bus's output. If 'None', is anything selectable?
Click Options at the top, then Audio.
What is selected as the Recording and Playback Timing Masters? That would be your sound card. If nothing is selected, is anything selectable?
Also, SONAR 4 is a very old program and may not work well with Windows 7. Did it come with a hardware purchase? If so, what hardware?

     Edit: subtracted a 1.

Sorted! The track outputs were set to "none" for some reason, so all is working now. I just get irritated as it was all ok until one day ....it wasnt! Gremlins came in the night and changed my settings I suppose, thanks though for your help, very much appreciated.

Spoke too soon, ... now I get a rapid clicking noise as I playback. Presumably a memory or processing problem? I've had it before, comes and goes depending what day it is! Any ideas? One day I'll get the song finished!
