Is the Advanced Driver Switch on?
From the manual:
"This switches the operation mode of the UA-25EX
.
The UA-25EX has two operating modes, Advanced mode and Standard driver mode, and each mode uses a different driver.
If you change the setting of this switch, you must close all software, disconnect the USB cable that connects the UA-25EX to your computer, and then reconnect the USB cable.
ON (Advanced mode)
In this mode you can use the included UA-25EX driver to record, play and edit audio with high quality and stable timing.
Choose this mode if you’re using sequencer software or
audio editing software.
OFF (Standard driver mode)
Choose this mode if you’re using software that uses the standard audio driver included with your operating system.
*
The sample rate will be fixed at 44.1 kHz/16-bit regardless of the setting of the UA-25EX’s sample rate select switch.
when using Standard driver mode.
* The MIDI IN/OUT connectors are not available when using Standard driver mode. For details on the driver operation mode, refer to
“What is a Driver?” (p. 14)."
