UA-25EX Settings

Can I please get some suggestions as to sample settings? Most all my electric guitars go through another soundcard but the ua25 yeilds considerable higher quality when recording acoustic work. So far, I have just winged it with compression settings, input/out, ect. I record 99% with an acoustic electric nylon. Thanks so much everyone!
