UAD 6.4.1 and Focusrite Mix COntrol 3.x?

No not at the same time.

Looking for input on these two Software versions.

Anybody tried the latest UAD  .1 patch with Sonar X2? Did it resolves the issues that 6.4 seemed to introduce?I dont want to update untill I read more comments.

Also I tried Focusrite Mix Control 3.0 and 3.1 and experience snap crackle and pops and had to downgrade to 2.4 (Saphire DSP 24 and Liquid 56).I read someone else here had to downgrade..

I'm on Windows 8 x64 and both are working fine although I'm not getting as good low latency performance with my Focusrite Pro40.
It's still very usable (ASIO at 192 samples).

    Hi Musicman100
I don't think the 6.4.1 patch is for Windows...I had thought it was just a Mac 64-bit beta.

I can tell you that, after some initial setup, my 64 bit plugs are working great here.

    Hi Musicman100,

If you are currently using the legacy version of the 1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller driver, this would be the cause of the problems you experienced with MixControl 3.0 and 3.1.  Versions 2.4 and prior required use of the Legacy firewire controller driver, but with 3.0 and up it causes problems.

Thanks Matt, however I tried the TI drivers update to no avail, I (do have a true TI chipset FW card).

You might want to try using the generic Windows 1394 controller driver instead.  I've seen it resolve issues like this on some systems.
