UAD - Non UAD plug in middle of chain warning

I just got Sonar X2, windows 7 64 bit and I'm running the 32 bit version of Sonar and keep getting this UAD warning message:

"There appeears to be a non UAD-2 plug in the middle of a UAD-2 chain. This will result in additional latency on this track. (-21)"

Is there any way to turn this off? Very annoying having it continually pop up. Also, I am not using live mode.

Thanks
Stout

Some more info on this, it only happens in Sonar X2 32 bit.  In 64 bit Sonar with the UAD plugs running in bitbridge it does not happen.

Also I'm not using fx chains at all.

When i open a project i get a ton of warnings for every plug that is in between uad plugs in any of the fx bin.

I get it in X1 in windows XP with most current UAD drivers.

I just jumped from 8.5, so I have never seen this before.

I'll call Cakewalk on monday and see if there is a way to turn it off.

I would pay attention to this warning and put all the UAD plugs in a row in a chain.... the round trip of audio with UAD plugs is on the high side and you are just doubling the trip.  So, instead of eliminating the warning, eliminate the problem and the message will go away.

    Just my advice,

I have no worries on latency and often times have chains of UAD plugs with non UAD plugs in the middle.

I really don't see a need to even worry about this besides the annoyance of the message, let alone change all of my plugin chains.

Maybe this was fixed in 64 bit, but not in 32?  I'll post back what cakewalk says about it.

I am on 64bit and also never had it... did you try to put the same plugin at the top and/or at the chains end to see if the message still occuring?
It is happening with any non-uad plugin? No 64bit plugins in use? It have to be bridged too...

The message is not from SONAR its from the UAD plugins.
Several years ago we added custom chaining support for UAD plugins. This allows UAD plugins to know when there is a series of plugins in a circuit and optimize by keeping the signal flow on the UAD bus.
I assume that the warning is telling you about this. If there is a way to disable it it would have to be in the UAD plugin UI not SONAR.
The reason this doesnt happen in X64 is because bitbridge cant handle the custom UAD opcodes that we implemented in SONAR.

Thanks Noel, I'll give UAD a call and see if they have a way to turn it off.

While the prompt is an nag it only happens upon opening, adding a plugin that qualifies or bouncing a mix. It's not like it's happening or even stops a function from happening although I would prefer to not be reminded. I have no issues with latency.
