UAD Studer 800 reels not turning - Sonar specific ? SOLVED

I just got the Studer 800 plug installed - but the spinning reels /animation won't happen. UAD Support said that he seems to remember something about that in Sonar but would have to check it out. Anyone else seen this ?

    Don't have it, but I know that for the new Ampex the UAD manual states that you have to configure the VST as a tempo based effect  to get the animation in Sonar.

    I found this on the UAD forums. Don't know for sure if it's the problem though. See the first post on page 4. I need to check in the Sonar plugin manager. Will provide result for future referrence.

    EDIT: Yep that fixed it. Go into the plugin manager and set the plug up to be a tempo based effect. Now that is cool.
