UAD/NEVE Plug In Compressors - anything close?

I'm looking for close approximations of UAD's 1176 & LA-2A, Fairchild 670, Neve 33609. Why? I can't afford the real McCoy's but I've heard the results from these and like what I've heard. Also, I got a template from a member here and he used the UAD's on his drum busses and I want to get close to what he's done.

Hopefully this thread won't turn into a "you're stupid for wanting those" or "why do you want those?"

I just want to know 1st if anyone has used these and then something else, what would approximate them? I have Waves Mercury bundle if that's any help, and a number of Voxengo plugs, as well as SONITUS.

So any help? Thanks in advance.

You're stupid for wanting those! Why do you want those????

    KIDDING!

The sonitus compressor has NEVE 33609 presets as well as Textronics LA2A and UREI 1176 presets. Are those not what you're looking for?

Uh...well...if you have Waves Mercury, you have (or should have access to):

    V-Series V-Comp = Neve emulation
    Puigchild 670 = Fairchild 670

Yep, I've used both of them. Has anyone that knows the difference used these as well? I have no reference point.

I am also looking to see if there are others that I may try.
