UM 2G

OK, If I am using a UM-2g using the midi1 input for my control surface, (Mackie) how do I get the UM-2g to recognize the keyboard on the midi 2 input?

    in midi setup , you see BOTH ports on the unit listed .. and both are enabled / ticked ? look when the time is, the piano icon will light up if you get a note in via it. in the sequencer you'll see it listed , you can either specify a port.. or well just leave it as omni if it's soft synths what midi keyboard , the edirol you can hook up via usb instead of using midi ?
