UM-3G opinions?

My M-Audio Midisport 8x8/S is no longer supported under Vista/7, so I'm planning to replace it with two or three UM-3G's. Is anyone running 2 or 3 of these linked together? I'm using Sonar 7PE under Vista 32-bit and have quite a few rack synths I cannot currently use, so I'm kind of desperate. I need a simple and robust multi I/O MIDI solution.

Lots of gear. Not enough time.

I don't own one of these devices but I'm looking at the specs now and they seem designed to do what you are looking for. If you daisy-chain 3 units together (via USB) they will show up as nine independent midi devices in your recording software. Looks like a pretty nice design.

I purchased a Cakewalk UM-3G to replace my old M-Audio 2X2 due to incompatibilities with Windows 7 and I couldn't be happier ... I had latency issues to begin with but found there was an update to the drivers and instantly the latency issues was resolved.  I'm running SONAR X1d.  I see the date of the posting ... but maybe this will help somebody else who may stumble upon it.
