Now that was cool!! I was really looking forward to watching you sling that guitar and maybe your hair around...but this way I got to focus on your fingers, anyway, so that was cool. I think if you'd slow it down about 100 times I might be able to begin to grasp what you were doing. Anyway, great job...and lots of luck on the CD sales! :)

Really cool seeing this played live. I took a look out on CD Baby. All the Wessels classics. The picture is great. I'd be interested to know if you had any additional mastering done for the CD to give it a cohesive overall flavor. Congratulations and I hope it does well for all your hard work and dedication.

    Hey, Mark,

It's really great to see you around on the forum again!

Congratulations on your CD release, and spectacular job on this very cool song and video.  Amazing playing and awesome tone as usual, and the video really brings the song to life.  I'm hoping to try a hand at my first video in the near future, so this is a great inspiration for me.

Dynamite work, and also, I'm very glad to hear that your shoulder surgery went well.  Have a good one, buddy!

Hey Bob, great to see you.  I had quite a time recording and getting everything to synch.  I ultimately miced the amp and recorded the audio in Sonar with the backing tracks playing in the file.  Later I imported the video into Sonar and ditched the audio from the vid.  I moved the Sonar audio around to synch with the vid but it's off in a few places.  I did the titles in Windows Movie Maker.

Thanks Frank.  No it wasn't easy.  I'm embarrassed to admit I forgot how to play the song and spent 2 days relearning it.  Then it took about 8 takes recording it where I didn't screw some part up real bad.

Pretty cool Mark. I was so glad to see that you were sitting down and playing. Some guys our age tend to do these videos as if they were still young, with all kinds of strange movements, such as flying kicks, wild head swings, or suggestive hip thrusts. You could have broken a hip, and at our age, that's tough to come back from. Well played sir, well played.

No doubt your an Awesome guitar player. I wish I had that type of command over the guitar, it's obvious you are in complete control there.

Loved the music, and it was cool to watch you actually play the music also.

I hope you do great with you're album also!

    Best of luck!!
