UPDATED:Factory Yoyo: under water yeah I got slammed. Lost my car, house uninhabitable
Update 11/8 Still no power, 11 days in. Rumor there will be none until Thanksgiving. School still out but may start half days next week. I am sure a good third of the school kids are not staying in town. Some are getting power back but their homes are uninhabitable or their boilers are shot. Tomorrow the first of four insurance adjusters is supposed to make inspection. Pray for my family if you have a few minutes.

my grandparents in breeze point got hammered.
i go there very year a few times.
its like a second home for me.
all ive seen is what the tv lets me.
but i know my grandparents cant get back in there even to collect things unless accompanyed by the gaurd.
maybe thats changed,i dont know.
my grandfather is now in the hospital and will probably pass tonight or tommorow.
he is on hospice and to get him a room down there was crazy.
all i know is my brother is down there and told me not to bother comming yet because there is no where for me to stay.
my cousins house in queens is already overloaded with family.
not trying to compare problems with you,i just want to let you know i feel for you man.
i will be in the area in a week or so if you need any help i may be able to shoot down your way for a few.
not sure where you are but im guessing newyork.

i will be pretty wrapped up in breeze point but if your close

Thanks for the positive thoughts. My house got swamped but without heat or power it may be quite a while before I can move us back in. My poor town is devastated and it is agonizing to see so many friends (who one would normally lean on for support) being in the same boat or worse. School for the kids is a complete mess. Staying with family waiting for some change to the situation.
And I had a bunch of songs almost done!

What a bummer ! (the situation, not you ;) ) Had you down as a Florida guy for some reason, so was surprised to see this and actually thought it was gonna be a new topical song at first. Hope that all the unreplaceable things are intact - all the rest is only stuff at the end of the day, though I don't envy you one bit the aggrovation factor of putting it all straight again - so much work just to get back to where you already were. Hope some good comes out of it all somehow - should be a song or two in it anyways - 'bout time you did a blues number ;)
