Hi I am just wondering if I upgrade my melodyne essential to editor can I still use it as the ARA integration? or it will go back to its own way for editing?
Regards

    Editor works with ARA
Essential, Assistant and Editor are the same program. The features are determined by the license.

    thanks Scook
I remember when I upgraded my sonar to x3 melodyne offered me to buy the editor version with a really good deal but I didn't buy it because I wanted to work with melody before I upgrade it. So do u know if the deal is still available for sonar users? if not, if I upgrade x3 to the new release I mean SONAR, can I get the deal again or not?
    Thanks

IIRC, the upgrade was a limited time offer (15 Days?) based on the registration date. Celemony did extend the discount for several months after the X3 roll out for people who sent emails to them. I don't think they are doing it any longer but you could ask Celemony about it. They might run the sale again since there is a new release of SONAR.

If they don't let you have the deal, you can wait and see, they do periodically do sales like many companies just in general.

I paid for the full Editor version just months before X3 came out, not knowing Essential was going to be included for free.  I don't regret it at all.  It's well worth the full price and definitely worth the price of upgrading from a free version of Essentials if they offer it again.  I have a feeling they probably will with the new release of Platinum including Essential.
