USB Type C Thunderbolt 3 - Display Support

I realize that there has been some discussion around Thunderbolt audio interfaces.  But I have recently noticed the USB Type-C connector showing up on some Intel based Windows 10 systems, and I was wondering if anybody was using this for display output yet?
