USB converter for my microphone is not working with Guitar Pro Tracks 3 need help

I set the input device as the usb converter with the microphone hooked up to it. I then go to record and it does record but when I go to play it back the sound is going at twice the speed and the recording it orginally took up is split in half. I do not know how to fix the problem. I am using the converter so I can record guitar through my amp.

Hi Calvin, welcome to the forum!

1st you'll need to let everyone know what the specs of your computer are.CPU speed, Ram, Sound card and anyother info you can provide. There are many ways to do what you want and the folks here are very knowleable. So if you have any questions, no matter how dumb you may think they are, please ask.
