UVI Workstation update to 2.6.6
UVI has updated UVI Workstation to version 2.6.6. Changes: - [Fix] Possible crash at exit in some host.
- [Fix] Improvements in some FX regarding CPU usage when silent.

I tested the pre-release v2.6.6 x64 and it solved the hangs in SONAR, Reaper and S1.
Soundwise, I don't know what to tell you. I have the same problem with Arturia's ASC app; it aborts immediately when I try to run it. Arturia have stopped responding to me. Sucks. Hope you have better luck with UVI. I found them very responsive.

TheMaartian, they responded and want me to set up TeamViewer. I see no reason to allow direct access to my PC just because a newer software build with insignificant changes doesn't run. If no one else experiences crashes with UVI, then I can happily forget about UVI updates, newer instruments and look elsewhere. If the immediate crash happens to more people, UVI may be able to sort it out and fix it.

I can't even get the installation to happen! I downloaded UVI and the ILOK license manager when I bought the Digital Synsations library a year or so ago. Then I run the installation. It says it is installed. Launch UVI, I get a window that says part of the install is missing. Then a window says to go to ILOK and download the latest version of that. The ILOK account shows my copy of Digital Synsations but no love on ANYTHING working! I have jumped thru those hoops several times to the point that I just quit trying to get it even installed!!! I took it all off of my HD and gave up.
If anyone has a suggestion it would be appreciated! But it has not been missed AT ALL!

v.2.6.3 works fine on my system. Have you tried rolling back to previous version that used to work?

I appreciate the help, Soundwise. No, I haven't tried an older version because I have never been able to get past the installation of ANY version of UVI!! I had an old Windows XP computer back in the day that I had UVI working on but in the Windows 10 world I think that version is long gone!

I just downloaded and installed the new update. When I installed it, it hung up on the PACE part for a long time. in fact I had to end it with the Task manager. I then rebooted, and the UVI 2.6.6.x64 runs fine. It was strange to see it hang up, but it did install the program.

I always have my iLok Manager update to date, so cancel
out of that part....always works fine...

Mine works in stand alone. Works in Reaper. I rarely use this program.
