UX8

Hi i just got a new compter with windows 7 and also sonar x2 producer the sound card i am using is line 6 UX8 that
i just install with all the drivers nesseserie before i installed Sonar but when i open a audio track in Sonar, in the track when i want to change inputs in I/O there is only one input to choos from but my mic is connected to input 5 i should have 8 inputs showing in my track I/O. is there enyone that could help? thank you......

    don't know if I can help but the first thing I would check is under edit/preferences/audio/devices and make sure all 8 are there and checked.

    There is only one in inputs and one in outputs.

    I think that might be the problem but I don't know what do to do to fix it. But I will give you a bump to the top of the forum so someone who knows can post.

    What driver type are you using? Is it ASIO for example?

    John I was just coming here to check and see if anyone had posted to the OP and suggest a driver type change. chico11 go to edit/preferences/audio/playback and recording. In the drop down for driver mode select ASIO then hit apply and go back to edit/preferences/audio/devices and see if the 8 inputs show up. If that does not work or if ASIO is already selected try one of the other types WDM or WASAPI if they are available.
