Uber = Prepaid Hitchhiking?

That's my questioning thought for the day.

Hi,

We didn't pay for anything ... and hitchhiked several times from Santa Barbara to SF and back (Santa Cruz was tough and too something or other!), but in general LA and back was easy as heck in those days ... the freeway downtown is not as open as it used to be then, but it's still do'able!

Let's see.

Trip to SF to see the world opening of the movie "The Wall" in quad sound. The movie, then, was 20 minutes longer, and (later) was cut up to match the 2 LP format. The rest of the material became 50% of "The Final Cut".

Trip to Berkeley to go to Rasputin Records, then the best LP store in the world, with the largest collection of anything you can think off!

Trip to Berkeley with girlfriend to visit old friend. He had been the first person we met and stayed with in Madison years earlier. He was a playboy of sorts, but nice guy.

Trip to SF on the way north ... stopped by all the record stores in Berkeley and got some dandy bootlegs at the time! The main place to get bootlegs ... at the time!

Highway 101 was daaaahhh bomb in those days ... awesome times! And the fruit and vegetable stands in/around San Jose were excellent ... much better than the dust and dirt you get now!

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!
