Ubuntu Media Edition

I found this link over at Slashdot for a media version of Ubuntu Linux (http://ubuntustudio.org/). I am at a point where the only time I boot into Windows is audio recording. I like Sonar, Windows 2000 is OK, Vista I don't trust as far as I can spit. For others like me, if Cakewalk would port Sonar to Linux I would be extremely happy (rumor has it there is a Mac port sometime in the future). However, until that happens, this may be as close as we get.

Don't believe everything you here your repeating something a lesser informed user had to say. Cakewalk has on several occasions reported on the Sonar forum that there will be NO Mac Version of Sonar. That also includes Linux.

That's a shame. A Linux and/or Mac port would make it a very attractive option to a lot of folks. Hopefully something will work itself out
