Ubuntu and Sonar
Hi all
Has anyone tried ubuntu with sonar. I see the program a lot and was wondering if its better than Windows.
I thought I could get an answer here.

Sonar doesn't run natively under Linux.
FWIW, If you think trouble-shooting under Windows is difficult, I'd recommend avoiding Linux.
Linux is uber flexible... but you're pretty much on your own when something doesn't work.

Yup, for music production/recording I'd stay away. There are programs that work, but nothing on Linux works as well as it does on Mac and Windows. Everything on Linux is entirely on you to figure out.
