    What...no country fans? ;-)

Just so folks might understand why I posted these...both of them were produced and recorded using Sonar 8.5...when it was new! They were mixed by one of my young engineers...when I could still employ such. I found them while rummaging through some of my old song files. At first I didn't know what to do with them as "Right" was pretty much a simple demo and "She Ain't You" was so oddly mixed...my vocal split left and right but predominantly on the left. Then it came to me...put both of them in a make believe live club setting. I even tried solving the weird vocal panning anomaly by inserting me chatting to the crowd between songs and panning myself moving across to the left position on stage to match the 2nd vocal. A little crowd ambience and some live room ambience...announcer at the front and me yammering throughout and there you have it..."Live At Jimmy V's".

Loved it...    And apparently the crowd did too.       The "band" sounds great on both songs: nice piano solo in the first one and the harmonies are tight.  And the guitars blend nicely on the second - real, virtual or both?

Country is not really my thing, but as for the mix not much to say, it all sounds fine here nice and clear plenty of space, nice one Yorolpal, thanks for sharing your 8.5 experience.
