Ultradance

Hi. This is one of my older tunes.  I tried to make a bit 80s sounding dance tune IIRC. I hope you like it.

Thank you Daryl. It's not my best but I like to think there is something good in it.

Antti, it's been a while since I've heard you, and I'm glad I caught this.  It has an uplifting theme with a lively beat that makes this fun to listen to.  I think it would sound more 80's if you pumped up the bass drum a bit, but it works well like this.  Good one!

All the best,
Lynn

Thank you Lynn for your nice words. I like your suggestion and agree it would be better with some tweaking. I don't know If I have the project file on my current drive so the tweaking might be hard to do.

If you have the stereo file perhaps a multi-band compressor could achieve this.

Thanks for the tip. I will try to fix the tune.

Has a nice groove to this and it has an 80's electro feel to these ears. The only nit-pick, and it is a very small one, the strings seem to stop and come back in quite abruptly at the 1:27 mark. This can be easily fixed with by adding a transition sound, reverse cymbal or such other sound.

Thank you for your comment and tip. Actually I like the tune better with the abrupt string stop thing but I am probably in the minority with this opinion. If I find the original file I will add a bridge to this tune too if I get the daw thing going again. At the moment I am having fun with my guitar so it may some time when I do that.

Nice job, Antti.   An enjoyable piece with a smooth flow...

Regarding that string break, I liked the way the strings dropped out, but that first hit coming back in sounds like it's catching a bit of the preceding fade instead of ramping up from zero.   Minor nit.
