Ok, Windows lied, I had to click "check for updates". Thanks again.
Yeah - Windows Updates are like layers of an onion - you put a batch on, then you have to run Windows Update again, to see if the patches you just applied have any patches to THEM. So, another layer gets applied, and you have to keep repeating this until it truly says there aren't any more.
BUT, things sure have been STABLE for me, with Sonar Platinum. I run Windows 8.1 for a little longer, then will upgrade to Windows 10. I run with all critical and important Windows updates applied, and have moved to a completely 64-bit collection of 3rd-party plugins, on a decent computer. Sonar has been ROCK solid for me for a long long time now. (as opposed to many nightmares trying to use Sonar 8.5.3 on a Windows XP desktop with 32-bit Windows).
