Have you ever been in an Uncle's band?

They Aunt just playing for themselves. It's about sharing with the next generation. :-)

I think the Auntys do it too.

    Yes, sort of.
Whenever we would travel to Charleston, SC, we would usually pick and grin with my uncle Ralph. Me, Mike and Smokey (Ralph junior) would all play acoustic guitars and Ralph would play his Hawaiian steel guitar or his nice 1951 Gibson manolin.
A good time was had by all.

Gary Numan's Uncle Jess played drums in Tubeway Army. That's all I got.

    Hi,

The only one I know of these days is the "Man Band", that is now being run by the kids ... and their new version of C'mon is pretty darn good, too!

I do miss Deke and Micki duking it out on the live version in "Back Into The Future" ... and of course that Bapu's Male Choir is something else ... !

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!

Of course it does Ed, of course it does.

Now if you could just get your younger self to change you out of those soiled britches I'm sure we'd all appreciate it.
