Unlinking step sequencer clips

SONAR Pro, v 23.3.0 Build 51 [2017.03] - x64
 
So in SONAR X1, if I had a bunch of step sequencer clips that were copies and therefore linked, and I wanted to just unlink one of them I could do that: half way down the right click context menu for the clip is the "Unlink..." option. Now, in Pro that option is still on the menu, but always disabled and all I can do is "Unlink Step Sequencer Clips", which unlinks all of the clips, not just the selected one.
 
Also, no matter how many clips are actually linked in a track, the "Clips LInked" property in the clip browser is always showing 0.
 
Just wondering if anyone else is seeing this same behaviour?

I don't use the step sequencer at all to be honest but I didn't want you to feel ignored.
Have you made sure the clips are all selected ? (the ones you want linked/ unlinked)
