Unpacking bundle file ?

I have 2 computers a laptop (old XP/Sonar6/828MK2) and desktop (new W7/Sonar6/828MK3) . I saved my projects from the laptop as bundle files on a external hard drive , when i hook my desktop to the external hardrive and unpack the bundles on desktop the audio is out of sink and a pop up msg says " some audio was corrupt and has been replaced with silence " . When i reconnect my old laptop to the same external hardrive and unpacked the same bundles it open up just fine no problems . Any suggestions?

Bundles suck. Save each project as a CWP file an per project audio folders onto the external hard drive and you will have no problems what so ever..

Katrice. You can "save" from under, I think it's "tools" menu. Something about 'backup' or something. Sorry not at my rig right now.

But you don't really need to do that either. Just copy and paste your data.
drag and drop using windows not sonar to move your files.
    Forget the Bundle files.

Just drag and drop the folder to the external drive. I do it every day.
I create a folder with the album name and date. All data is stored in there. I record the band live to my laptop but take it home to edit and add my parts.
I just drag and drop it to a USB stick.
Take it home and drag and drop it to my Cakewalk folder on the other computer. Open Sonar, browse for that folder and open each song.
Work on the songs and save.
If they need further remote recording I just drag and drop the folder back to the USB drive but I re-date the folder.
This also gives me original backups I can always go back to.

1- Original live bed track on laptop
2- Same folder stored on USB drive
3- Edited version with new tracks added on home DAW.
4- Edited version on USB drive
5- Edited version with new live tracks added on laptop
6- Edited version with more remote new tracks on USB drive
7- Hopefully the final tracks ready to master on home DAW.

You could use "save as" too, but make sure your pathways are set up properly. I find drag and drop bullet proof.
