This is about as raw and primal as you can get.  It's not even close to the blues genre, but I can understand why you might mistake it for the blues because it is intense.  It has a lot of that 90's vibe going on, as if Kurt Cobain was coming down from a heroin high.  I like it for those reasons.  The mix is appropriate for this style, and I'd be surprised if it doesn't catch someone's ears.

All the best,
Lynn

As Lynn stated above this number has a great raw feel to it.  You can certainly feel the angst.  It reminds me of some of the "psychedelic Blues" of the 1960's (e.g., Big Brother, The Blues Image, etc.).  The lyrics have the same kind of feel.  Your mix complements the performance.
I like it!!!!!! --- nice one.

Im running out of good things to say that I have not already said. Great tune. Well done.

Good tune. It's got a lot of Hendrix influence to my ears. Especially the lead toward the end.

The snare kind of sticks out a bit much in a few spots for my taste.

I liked the bit o' backwards lick. I'm a big fan of recording backwards. It's an art in itself IMO. It's such a short bit I can't tell if it was actually backwards or if it was one of those plugin's that will make something sort of sound backwards. Anyway, the timing gets off a little on the guitar right after it, but it adds to the character and rawness of the song. Judging that it's for sale, I'd guess you're past the tweaking stage so I'd call it good.

Here's a tune I just recently did. First half is entirely backwards. Not plugging my song, just sharing.

"I pulled the head off Elvis, filled Fred up to his pelvis, yaba daba do, the King is gone, and so are you."

Thank you so much, feedback really means a lot.  And right on...as you might have guessed, Cobain is and was big for me.  You rock!

I can hear plenty of blues influence in here, loads of attitude and passion too. Good, convincing performances, especially the vocals.

Yeah, I liked it.  Big Brother is a good reference though he doesn't sound like Janice.  He sounds good for this tune, though.
