Sorry I don't have a title yet.
This is something I've been working on the last day or two.
Always curious about other opinions.  Any comments are appreciated.
Thanks!

I'm assuming this will have a vocal at some point? Sounds like a great start to me. The mix you posted has some weird distortion on the extreme left and right sides of the soundstage. Not sure where that's coming from...

The beginning is very pretty, sounds great. IMO the guitars are much too loud and are overbearing in the mix.

    Thanks guys.
I always have a problem with guitar noise.
    I'm always oversaturated it seems.
I have the EQ notched out in a lot the frequencies that seem to be "muddy" but it's never enough.
I Will definitely go back and clean them up more so they don't seem so loud and noisy.
I might try some different guitar sounds.

    Thanks for your time.

I love the first fuzzy guitar - slides right in.  The second one is a smidgen loud, tho it is the lead.  Nice pop on the snare.  Good song you've got going here.  Love to hear some more layering of rhythm guitar that a cleanish lead could sit on top of.

Ok..the sound comes off a little weird, but really grew on me.  The guitars sound synthy...but cool in a way.  I LOVE the chord structure, takes a few measures to really get it and it's nice and dark which is my fav.

But surely you're not done right?  So, sounds really promising so far...I would love to give another listen when you finish it.  I really caught my interest.

AT - Thanks a lot.  People seem to really like or hate the guitar sound.
They are still pretty muddy, maybe too distorted.  And the other is probably a tad too loud as you suggested.
I value your time and comments.

Voda La Void - Yea, in the beginning the bass and piano are playing out of key on a couple notes. Is that what you are referring too?
It sounded funny to me, but when I went back to mess with the bass notes it just ruined that, kind of disharmonic tone or whatever it is. It just sounded totally flat and dull. My bass is utter crap and still has the original strings on it if I'm not mistaken.  Pretty sure that does't help!
Thanks a bunch.  The consensus seems to be it needs more changes and/or another riff/bridge.
I will definitely work on it and clean things up.

Thanks again to everyone for your time.
    Cheers!

I like the guitar tone - but I'm not a guitarist.  Maybe that is why ;-)
