Unusual trouble with SampleTekk Library...
I have several of the SampleTekk piano libraries and have never had any difficulty downloading, installing or instantiating any until now. I purchased "Estonia" during the winter sale. As per usual you download the intial file and then get a link to the page where you download all the other files...or, if none are listed for your particular product, the initial file is all you need. As far as I can tell there is no other file on that page that is the same number or "estonia" name as my initial file. Yet when I extract that file and then try to instantiate any of the listed pianos in Kontakt I get the missing samples dialog and searching the file system does not find them. I've emailed Per...he's usually very quick to respond tho (probably due to the holiday season) I've not yet heard back from him. So...anyone here have "Estonia" and am I going about it wrong???

Per is usually pretty good about responding, I agree it must be because of the season. I've even seen him on the forums in the last couple of weeks.

If its any help - the total size of the unzipped Estonia is 2.71 GB (2,919,945,101 bytes) I don't have access to my archive of downloaded files at the moment

It has something to do with the way they load. If I manually browse to my samples folder on my library drive MOST of the pianos will go ahead and load...but not all. If I trace back where the program is looking for the samples it seems to be on the C drive down the User/Me/App Data tree. None of my other SampleTekk pianos have any problems at all and were a no-brainer to install. I'm sure Per will work it out when he has time.

I'd sure like to hear that piano in a rock mix. I think it would be excellent. Doghouse, once you get it installed maybe you could whip up the ending of Layla as a demo. By the 31st if possible, please.

Yeh, they tell me there's some holiday coming up. I've been trying hard to ignore it. The family refuses to buy my story of converting to Judaism, which I'd heard would get me off the hook for this particular holiday. Humbugism, now that I think I can sell.

Well, digitalboy took it upon himself to record the ending to "Layla" and email it to me, not using the library under discussion but with the Emperor, which I think ol'pal also has. It impressed me enough to place an order for it.
