Update from X1 Producer to X1 Prod Expanded.

Do I need to be aware of any issues if I chose to update from x1d producer to x1 producer expanded.  I wanted to take advantage of the spring sale right now.
I have read about issues regarding installation and x1d.  Would I need to uninstall x1d in order to update to expanded?

Thanks,

Hardy

    Yes you would

    1) To install this update (C)  Please note: this update is cumulative of all previously released SONAR X1 updates including SONAR X1a, X1b and the QuickFixes.

    2) before you can install SONAR X1 Expanded Please note that you must have SONAR X1 Producer and the latest SONAR X1c Update installed .

    3) To install the SONAR X1d update, you must already have SONAR X1c Producer/Studio/Essential (Build 319) or SONAR X1 Expanded (Build 425) installed. If you have a QuickFix installed, you must roll back your QuickFix build before installing the SONAR X1d update.

No you don't! This question has come up a lot lately so I will explain it once again.

Since you already have a "d" patch installed there is no need to uninstall or rollback anything at this point.
Everything behind it is history. So...

If you already have X1d Producer, do the following:

    1. Install Expanded
    2. Install Expanded "d" patch
    3. Enjoy your new Sonar
    4. Repeat #3 as often as you like

True I had same dilemma which was sorted after posting here. I also had it confirmed by Cakewalk ticket. Just install expanded X1 on top of X1c or X1d then update again with the expanded X1d update.
