Update on my Sonar Journey
As BI, my buddy John and I are making some music. He is a songwriter, singer, guitarist, and I play bass, "play" EZdrummer(loops), and do the production. It's working well, other than the time it takes me to learn a new trick.
Bapu was nice enough to come over for a few hours and show me some EZD tricks and more. That was a HUGE deal!
I can actually say I have a workflow now, and I'm starting to improve it each day. We moved from recording twice a week to twice as long once a week and that is helping also. I have a whole week to play with stuff now instead of a couple of days.
I can't thank CW enough for this new model. I could never have afforded Platinum without the monthly payment plan. It is nice to have all the "big boy" tools available. All it takes is navigating the learning curve....and the amount of info available is almost daunting!
I should be able to put something up in a week or two. We're still cleaning up a few mistakes....
Countdown begins to "Son of the South"!
PS - Thanks to all who pushed me through those difficult first two weeks or so.
