[Updated!] The Early Access Program is Now Live for the Upcoming Release of SONAR 2016.04

The new features for this release are as follows. More details can be found in the SONAR Documentation. You can also see the individual help for each plugin for additional details on those (press F1 in LP EQ & LP MB or click the Manual shortcut at the top of TH3):
  • TH3 Cakewalk Edition (included in the core installer of SONAR Artist and Professional, located in the Boutique FX Suite for SONAR Platinum users)
  • LP EQ Linear Phase Equalizer (included in the Engineering FX Suite for SONAR Professional and Platinum)
  • LP MB Multiband Compressor (included in the Engineering FX Suite for SONAR Professional and Platinum)

To participate, you can obtain the Early Access release via:
  • Cakewalk Command Center under the Rollback menu. Steps:
    • Start Command Center
    • Click the Settings button
    • Click the Check Now button
    • In the Connected Products list, right-click on the product or suite name you want early access to
    • Choose Rollback > Early Access 2016.04 from the context menu
  • Through your products download page, under "Available Downloads." Click the "Show Other Downloads" button to reveal the link.

If you encounter any critical issues prior to official public release, post them to the Problem Reports Forum. Please include SONAR 2016.04 in the post title, and refrain from including issues not related to SONAR 2016.04 as they may get missed. We’ll do our best to lock posts as we confirm the reports.

    Hello Early Access participants,
     
     We appreciate all the feedback we've received on SONAR Early Access 2016.04 to this point - it's been very helpful.  We've had a number of fixes come in late this week and we'd like to make them available to those who would like them.  Just follow the same instructions from my initial post in this thread.  The items addressed since the last SONAR Early Access 2016.04 release earlier this week included:
    • Draw Tool hanging SONAR in some projects is fixed.
    • Reason Rewire playback distortion is fixed (this was an older issue we were working on & finished before .05).
    • External insert prop page loading w/ blank UI is fixed.
    • Automation Lanes appearing flattened on TH2 to TH3 migration is fixed.
    • Analog Flanger has been added back to TH3 Cakewalk.
    • The TH3 Cakewalk edition no longer overwrites TH3 Full version.
    • Migration of TH2 Smart Knob automation has been added to TH3 Cakewalk.
    • LP MB Attack / Release envelope only following the left signal has been fixed.
    • Start screen notifications opening in the Start Screen instead of the browser is now fixed.
    We expect this to be the final refresh of 2016.04.
