Upgrade - Sonar X3 to Sonar Platinum/Professional

Hi, wondering if there is an upgrade path from X3 to Platinum/Professional....i.e. is there a cost saving or do I just have to purchase the full version?

Thanks in advance

No, according to http://www.cakewalk.com/P.../SONAR/SONAR-FAQ#start. This went into effect May 1, 2017.

Although they did run a promotion a few months ago for X3 users.

Fortunately for you, you didn't pay to get on the boat just before it sank.
