Upgrade, is it possible now?

I have sonar home studio, can i upgrade it now after closure of development sonar products?

    Definitely no.

    We digitize tapes, vinyl, dat, md ... in broadcast and studio quality for publishers, public institutions and individuals.
    4 x Intel Quad-CPU, 4GHz Sonar Platinum (Windows 10 - 64Bit) and 14 computers for recording tapes, vinyl ...

    ya sorry man. Its too late.
    You cant upgrade, but you may be able to find the software (probably on sale) from 3rd party vendors.

    I also wanted to do this from Professional to Platinum, and more so I wanted Rapture Pro and Z3TA+ 2.
    It's not the `business way', but I'm hoping someone just let's us registered customers download the full versions, if it's all going to waste now.
    Just in case, I installed the above demos via the Command Center.
     
    I'm a big sissy, because I'm still holding out for a happy ending.
     
    I even made a blog post today trying to encourage more petition signers!

    Grant that is too sad man.......farewell cakewalk sonar.......ive got it installed on 2 new computers....I have at least 4 years of sonar(Windows updates disabled).......You will get your ****in happy ending......I just feel it in my bones,....plus cakewalk guy posted about how they have plan a, b , c and d about keeping it alive........mainly because cakewalk employees also love to use sonar!!!.....its not over till its over

    Windows 10, 64 bit, intel core i7-6500U CPU @ 2.50GHZ  2.59GHZ......12 gig ram ....Sonar lifetime updates, presonus audiobox 1818 interface, and beringer UFX1604 mixer interface/control surface...... All round musician, multi-instrumentalist/songwriter.....attempting to produce good music.....started on music creator 6 2014, bought sonar 2015....and now invested in lifetime updates......Learning always!!!!Thanx cakewalk and online forum

    This is soooo Stupid... A product in demand is just shelved...
     
    BTW, BITWIG is Computer Music DAW of the year.... They were Ableton Ex-Employes.
     
    So why can't Cakewalk employees acquire this thing?

    Because they didn't acquire ableton. They made a DAW from ground up that obviously borrowed liberally from Ableton, but not enough to be sued.

    I have to agree with Ed. Gibson probably doesn't care but what are you selling to someone ?
    A DAW that could possibly be unusable if an off line authorization is not given ?
