Upgrade question?

I know this is a dumb question but here goes.
I upgraded from Home studio to X1 Producer, does the upgrade deactivate the license for the previous version (HS) or is it still usable?

    You can still use it. I have 3 Cakewalk programs on my DAW computer and many folks have more than that.

    Copy that.
    The upgrade only affects your price point. Each and every version exists as a unique entity on your computer.
    None of your licenses are deactivated.
