Upgrade to production suite
Did anybody take advantage of the buy the X1 upgrade & get upgraded to the production suite special? I did, but never received an email with the special download link? I contacted support, but have not heard anything back.

I don't think they answer emails on the weekend but even still they tend to take a while. Best bet is to call them. If you are in the US it's free. 1-888-CAKEWALK

An e-mail is nice, but not necessary. Consult your account in the Cakewalk store. There should be the serial number AND the download link, if you've purchased the download version. It takes 15 to 30 minutes to show up,nsometimes longer. Cheers, Jerry

Went into my account and all I got is basic X-1, no production suite with the extra goodies. I have it installed and the extra things are not there.

Mr tortue Good to see a fellow Bolt. I have been a Charger fan since 1978. Use to have season tickets when I lived out there. Sorry I cant help you. I did do the first class upgrade from Studio to Producer and it took 5 hours to see the upgrade in my account.

It's good to meet another fellow bolt fan! I have been following since the Fouts days, still waiting for that elusive ring! Well, I did the upgrade on July 8th, so it's been slightly longer than 5 hours. Waited until I got my new computer before I got around to installing everything and I realized the upgrade never happened. I will call Monday, thanks guys!

What version of Sonar did you have before you upgraded? The Production suite promo is only for Producer customers.

Congratulations on your upgrade. I bought the upgrade to the Production Suite, and everything was as expected. Do you have more than 1 e-mail account? Have you checked your spam folder? If none of this applies, then definitely call them on Monday to get things in order. Everything I purchased was shown in my Cakewalk account including serial numbers for the different software programs that were included in the Production Suite. I also received an e-mail with links from Cakewalk after the purchase for Production Suite.

I have the same problem, except mine might be a little more complex. I purchased a Sonar X1 Producer mega deal from DV247 in the UK. The deal includes Sonar Home Studio 7/ Sonar X1 Studio on CD's and instructions on how to get the upgrade to Sonar X1 producer on a letter inside. Once you've received the download link for X1 producer, it should automatically entitle you to Production Suite. This is clearly stated on DV247's site. "What's more this offer can be combined with DV247's Sonar X1 Producer Megadeal! So you can buy Cakewalk Sonar X1 Producer Megadeal or any associated bundle and upgrade to the expanded Cakewalk Sonar X1 Production Suite". I only got the X1 producer link which has been mistakenly been put through as a freeFirst Class Upgrade. I'm still waiting on a reply too. I think the issue could be realted to the upgrade instructions which advise you to contact Roland for a link, when it might have been easier just to contact Cakewalk directly (as stated on the DV247 site). I followed the enclosed instructions within the package ubfortunately.

Called support and they fixed everything lickity split! One question, They have a download link to "SONAR X1e Expanded Installer" I have X1 installed with the latest "d" patch. I am assuming this expanded version since it's an "e" is ok to install over what I already have?

I'm in the UK so, no chance of me phoning them I'm afraid.

Ok, I went to install it. The installation asked me for the serial number, I go into my account and I see this "Out of serial numbers" What the heck is that supposed to mean? Now I have the expanded, but I cant install it.. What a pita.. Now customer service is closed so I have to call tomorrow.. I am never going to get this thing going!

It is irritating but you'll get sorted eventually. I hope it's sooner rather than later.

I've now downloaded the patches but haven't applied them. May be I had an updated download? Any way to tell from looking at the program?
