Upgrade to x1 what screensize?

I'm on Sonar 7 and I use two screens. Both older 15" Samsung flatscreens. 1074x768 resolution. What resolution would work for Sonar X1? I'd love to replace both monitors with one big screen... 22 inch or something about that size.

My 1920 * 1200 24" Dell monitor is fantastic. Plenty of room.

If you're going to get a new monitor, definitely get one that has a resolution of at least 1920 x 1080, which is the resolution for Blu-ray HD video and is standard now. Of course, even higher will give you more options, but 1920 x 1080 works nicely.

IMO 1920 x 1080 is indeed a minimum these days with 1920 x 1200 being a FAR better choice if you can find and afford the larger 16:10 ratio screens. That additional vertical resolution makes a big difference in usable real estate.

I should have also mentioned though, that in addition to the studio, I also use SONAR on my laptop and that only goes up to 1680 x 1050, but that's still fine because I can see the entire Inspector as well as the Pro Channel. But more resolution is always better.
