Upgraded to SampleTank 3.5, now it won't open in Sonar...SOLVED

Finally updated to 3.5.  Can open the standalone...though it seems sketchy.  But it won't open in Sonar at all...says something about a VPA error and crashes Sonar.  I'll try a forced scan and see what happens.  Anyone else experiencing similar weirdness??

No issues here, on either Win 7 machine, using sonar platinum 64 or in stand alone mode.

Purrrfect Audio DAW here.  Wow!...

Turns out the VST3 dll got placed in the 64bit VST2 folder. I removed it and all is good. Did have to totally rebuild my instrument database though.

As an FYI...I now know that a VPA error usually means two dlls governing the same VST are in the same folder.

So, where did you put the VST3 dll?

In the common folder. Don't remember the exact tree now...but it's where most VST3s get put.
