Used to be my Baby

I produced and performed this tune for a very talented songwriter named Charlie Williams aka: "Pinedog" .
He wrote it.

I really like this tune:
Used to be my baby
All verbage is welcome and appreciated

timidi, very good. I thought the bass was a little dominant in the beginning but by the time the song was over all sounded great.

    Hi Tim,

This was such a great song. Had me jiving around the living room.

I thought the mix was fantastic. Everything was separated to perfection, and each instrument had their own unique space.

    Vocals were excellent too.

    All-round stupendous package.

    Mark.

    Tim,
I had to snap the fingers along with this piece.  Performance is KILLER!
Mix sounds FANTASTIC on my end.  If you did this at a home studio KUDOS to your skills such a slick production/mix.
If I had to nit-pick and I really have to nit to say this but the kick drum could be lowered a touch. Its hitting pretty loud on my end.
You really have some MAD SKILLS when it comes to being a performer/producer.  KUDOS!

This is just great!  You did a great job playing, singing and recording this.  :)  Excellent little touches everywhere...that bass, sax, organ, and of course vocals that fit just perfectly. :)

Great mix as always Tim, even on the lappy speakers. (v. Jealous!) Not really a genre I listen to much, but everything sounds exactly like it should to my ears.

    On my Adams:

Totally awesome performance (great vox width on the hook: "Used to be my Baby").

A dancy rhythmic thing going on thoughout plus that wonderful middle.  Everything is tight and unites for the beat.

10/10 for Pop blues (on 1st listen).

Very catchy tune Tim. What's cool as I was listening this could be played as a straight up blues tune, or as a country Texas Swing type thing. Very cool. Your production rocked, I am a fan.

we always expect great things from your tunes, and this is no exception. great performance and mix. i think the horns could be a touch more in-your-face and dirty, but that's a personal preference. superb!

This IS a cool tune and you've done a great job on the music and mix.

Really cool horn parts and I love the rhythm guitar part/tone!

    Tim,

Great job.  Fun song, great production.  I see your broken lawnmower a few months past contributed to this production ( I hear a slide guitar in there).  Sounds great.

very cool tune...great movement..I agee w/the bass being a bit too much...just sits too "front and center"..in fact its a bit forward from the main vox. Other than that its a killer tune..love the horns!>.wow
