Using Dimension Live

I want to start seeing if I can use Dimension in a live situation. I have a Roland GI-20 Midi Guitar interface and I can trigger the Dimension sounds. The problem is I would like to be able to change Dimension presets depending on the preset I choose with the GI-20. The GI-20 can send Bank and Program change numbers. Is there a host application that I can use to detect these and switch to the sounds I want in the Dimension or Rapture synth or how can this be done. Any ideas? The more streamlined the better since I want to use them live.

Thanks,
John

I will take a stab at this since nobody else has answered.

I am pretty sure that Dimension does not respond to bank and program changes in the way you would like.

My idea is that you would set up in Sonar or other host, multiple instances of Dimension, each on a different track with its own presets, fx and other settings. Then use a knob or switch on your MIDI device to activate the track with the sound you want.

Thanks Tim I wasn't sure if Dimension would respond to those changes. You pretty much confirmed that. I was hoping there was an application that I could use to setup configurations of Dimension, Rapture, or whatever with whatever presets I chose and save them in a Bank, preset form.

    Thanks again,

The Dimension family definitely does not respond to program change or bank select.
