Using Input 3L/Mono

Hi,
I want to use the VS100 live as a mixer (in stand alone mode, not connected to computer) - I am connecting 3 mono signals.

I can connect signal 1 to input 1L; signal 2 to input 2L and signal 3 to input 3L (mono).

The signal going into 3L is line level - so no need for pre-amp.

I have no issue with signal 1 and signal 2 - as both these channels have pan pots - so I can center these signals across output 1 and 2 .

My concern is for signal 3.  This channel does not have pan pot.  How will VS100 output this signal?  Will it output the signal on Output 1 only?  Or will VS100 center the mono signal across Output 1 and Output 2?

Regards,

Hi clontarf, welcome. If you plug into input 3left-mono, the output will come from both outs. If you plug into input 4, the output will only come from output 2(right). ---------------------- EDIT: But if you were to plug into both inputs 3 and 4 with two separate mono sources (say 2 synths for example), they would each come out of only one output (in3-output1, in4-output2). Hope that helps.

Perfect - I want to hear my mono signal into input 3L from both Output 1 and Output 2.  This is the functionality I want / expect.

Thanks
