Using Korg KAOSSILATOR PRO as an X1 MIDI instrument

Hi,  I just got a Korg Kaossilator Pro and am looking to use sonar X1 to load loops into the KA banks and trigger the loops...at minimum.  I would also like to be able to use the internal sound module as a midi module but don't think that's possible.

I have been able to connect the KA to my MIDI setup and figured out how to trigger each bank.  What I need to figure out is how to load loops from X1 into the KA.  Can it be done?

Thanks for your help!

maybe not, it's a relatively new device also ? you might find it's tailored more for a specific host (which maybe you got a lite version of it with the unit)

what about triggering them from say the matrix within sonar?

it probably could be done, but maybe not in realtime.. e.g. you'd have to set it up then doe the looping side later perhaps.

it has line in's , so you could take sonars output on say a separate out depending on your sound card.

Korg offers an editor that allows you to export each track (ABCD) as a wave file.  For some odd reason, I could only find it on the UK site.

There is a third party program that uses midiox to convert the CC xy pad to note on/off midi values.

Unfortunately, I do no know the name or location of the progam.
