Using MIDI Yoke with Guitar Tracks Pro 3

I have Guitar Tracks Pro 3, Virtual MIDI Piano Keyboard, MIDI Yoke, and numerous other audio softwares. I run XP with Creative Blaster X-Fi. I have Virtual MIDI inputs set to yoke 1, Output to Yoke 2 I get no signal when I try playing the MIDI. I can hear it without connecting to GTP3, or when I set the MIDI Output to my sound card, but otherwise I get nothing. Not in GTP3 channel I setup for the MIDI. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
