Using PRV mode, but no sound on playback

Hi all,
 
I'm a newbie so forgive me. I've added a track for a soft synth. I can play this on my kkeyboard OK, and record OK. Now I want to use PRV mode to put down a pattern of notes. It sounds OK as i put the notes down, but when I click on the play button, there is no sound. I've click on the RTZ button to make sure I'm at the beginning,. and I can see the trackeer line go over the notes, but no sound! I know I'm doing something wrong, or have missed a step. Help!

    Actually trying againj, it seems to play just the first not of the sequence. Tried this a few times now, and its always the first note, then silence.
