Using Sonar as a Hybrid DAW

Been using other DAW's for my hybrid system. Mostly Sequoia 11 and 12 and I love it but I want a bit more stability in the MIDI department so that's where Sonar comes in. I bought Producer 8.5 a few years back but didn't like it ( didn't give it a chance but its so ugly) so I've never used it. Now that X1 is out, it look better so I am once again thinking about it. The fact that Sonar is built for Win7 64bit is why I'm here. How does Sonar work for you stemming out to Example: a MixDream or Dangerous 2 Buss. Are you having fun?

    Hi audiokid,
I don't use the devices you mentioned, but I do send to the inputs on an SSL X-rack and then through the bus comp and stereo EQ there and finally back out again.  Works just fine. I just route my stems out different outputs on my Lynx Aurora, patch to the SSL and then patch the record bus output on the SSL back to an input on the Lynx to record the resultant stereo file.

Me having fun depends on the day, but I am getting work done :)

SO you (pay?) $500 for something and you don't like the way it looks?? And I thought SX1 was the ugly duckling.

Meh... if I had the cash I'd buy everything I could get my hands on just to check stuff out. I don't though so until I find a sugar momma I'll continue being thrifty.
