Using Sonar with Antares Harmony Engine Evo

I'm using Sonar 8.3 and I'm trying to use the Harmony Engine in any of the midi modes. I can send MIDI to Harmony Engine with my controller but when I try to control it using a MIDI track, it only gets some of the notes. (very few) All of the harmonies sounded fine when I was recording the MIDI tracks with my keyboard controller, but when I play back the MIDI track, only some of the notes are audible. It has the sound like it was being clipped by a noise gate...or that it's not receiving full velocity,. but I've maxxed out the velocity to 127 on the notes and the MIDI velocity sensitivity setting is at 100 on the plugin.

To hear the issue, Sample files attached here.

If anyone is using Harmony Engine successfully, or has a clue, any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.
