Using a MIDI VST Effect on an audio track

Not sure I phrased that question properly.
 
Anyhow.
 
I have EW Fab Four which has a fairly good ADT effect. Works well if I use it on the instrument loaded within Fab Four but I want to use the ADT effect on a vocal track.
 
I can't seem to figure a way to do that.
 
Fab Four won't load as an Audio FX only as a Soft Snyth. There must be a way to do this.
 
I'm thinking I should be able to route the vocal audio track somehow to a soft synth track and only use the ADT option in Fab Four.
