Using pedals

Hi all,

I have just bought an UA-25 EX and would like to record some electric guitar playings.
I've been playing a while to configure my laptop and get used to SONAR LE. Everything works as I expected.

I'd like to record the sound I usually play with so I was wondering whether I could use a pedal with this device....

Thank you all for your advices,
Roger

Sure. Just set the level of the input on the UA-25 EX just like you would if you weren't using the pedal.

    Great!
Thank you Chappel, I thought there was some risk of damaging the unit doing so.

I think it would be nice to connect the guitar simultaneously to both UA-25 EX inputs. One after passing through the distortion pedal and the other one directly. I've read somewhere that many interesting things can be done afterward in SONAR using both clean and distorted signals.

    Does it make sense?
If so, any idea about how to do it?

    Regards,
    Roger
