Using the A-800PRO & Alesis MssterControl in Sonar 8.5

Hello All,

I thinking about replacing my current master keyboard (Alesis QS8) with a lighter weight MIDI controller.  I've been looking at the A-800PRO.  I like the idea that it is tightly integrated to Sonar.  I currently use the Alesis MasterControl for my control surface.  I really don't need a MIDI controller to work with Sonar but I do wish the MC was able to control EQ rather than using a mouse.  Can the MC and A-800PRO be used at the same time, with the keyboard knobs just controlling the active EQ'd track?  Or is there a simpler, more elegant way to program the MC to do this?
