V Vocal keeps crashing -

I've been trying to use my v vocal on a piece of track in my sonar x2 and it keeps crashing, closing the program.  I have never had a problem with  v-vocal before, and I'm trying to figure out what it could be.  If anybody has any ideas about how to fix it I'd appreciate it.  Thanks.

Either disconnect or freeze all soft synths. Use it on small sections 1-2 bar. After you tune immediately bounce to clip. Leaving V-vocal clips unbounced can cause problems. If this is the only song that's doing it, then it may be corrupt in some way. Open a new song and copy all the tracks audio and midi to the new one.

Try this, it works for me, it may work for you too.
We're on our own as vVocal is a Roland for Sonar product.

Split the area into a clip. Make it small, maybe a phrase worth.
Click the split clip and perform a bounce to clips on it.
Now select that clip phrase to work on in vVocal.

It's a lot of work but vVocal rules enough to make it worth it in the long run.

Not sure what stage your clips are at, but I have found that if I have a bunch of clips that have already had v vocal applied and then I try to do add VV to more clips sometimes VV crashes. Seems to fix if I apply "bounce to clips" to all the other clips I had VV on ... essentially merges the VV into the clip so the clip remains with the VV applied, but actually removes the secondary VV layer of the clip.  Not sure why this works, perhaps reduces the memory load.
