V Vocal

Not sure what I am doing.  But when I select a short piece of ausio and process it by perhaps correcting pitch...there is a distortion issue that seems to affect other audio tracks too...

It is like the vocal gets flanged with distortion.

I've seen this happen when I'm running certain plugins. It's a drastic bug. I believe I found that waves ren compressor and v-vocal weren't playing nice. I disabled plugins did my adjustments and then turn the plugs back on.

It seems to go away when you export the track.  But certainly it was messing up my SD3 drumming with a crackling snare after I did some V-Vocal.

If you try to process a audio that peaks up to 0.0, then you will get distortion on the V-Vocal track.  I don't know if this is your issue, but I've had to prep some vocal trax that were too hot on occasion in order to run them through V-Vocal.

What sort of audio are you trying to process?

V-Vocal will only work properly on single, monophonic lines - such as a vocal(!)

    No you misunderstand.

It is a simple vocal line and that part works.  The vocal gets sorted but when I then play back there are like weord crackles or distortion in other synths...

As I say I think if i ignore it and then bounce down the whole track...it isnt there.  It is on playback from somewhere in the tracks.  I maybe will check it out by slowly muting tracks until i find out which was distorting

Yep - do your best to try and isolate the problem.

I have never heard of v-Vocal affecting other tracks, i.e. tracks to which is isn't applied.

In fact, I'd start by muting EVERYTHING and slowly unmute
